Beal students return to the stage for the fifth annual Fashion and Culture for Education on March 27.

Presented by Educate the Children & the Beal Multicultural Club, the show is described as an evening of talent and fashion showcase with a cultural flavour.

Jazz songbird Charmaigne Bailey, Antonio Maricahi Band, Beal Jazz Band, Beal Dance Studio, fashion from Sophie’s Gown Shoppe will be part of the entertainment at the Beal Auditorium (525 Dundas St.).

Proceeds from the evening will go to Educate the Children to assist in building an elementary school project in the rural village of Ugbele, Imo State, Nigeria.

Educate the Children is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to provide educational facilities, instructional materials and school supplies for rural children in the developing countries of Africa. Currently, the organization is seeking to provide facilities for the National school Umuaka in Eastern Nigeria. It hopes to improve learning and health of the 310 students attending the school by providing better facilities.
